49 Carrs BMW Lead Rein Pony of Hunter Type of the Year Championship

The judge will be looking for a pony suitable to take its rider on country and town activities on the lead rein. The type of pony here is a miniature version of the Show Hunter Pony. Ponies are asked to negotiate small rural obstacles, but without water and without jumping, to demonstrate their suitability for these activities on the lead rein. Ponies cannot exceed 122cm and riders cannot have celebrated their 9th birthday by 1st January of the year of the show.
